Mark William Matechuk is a filmmaker, actor, photographer and creative entrepreneur based in Toronto.

His work exists at the intersection of cinema and portraiture, drawing on a background in performance to create images that prioritize character, emotion and story. Whether directing a film, photographing a portrait or developing a creative campaign, Mark approaches each project with the belief that compelling visuals begin with authentic human connection.

Over the course of his career, Mark has worked across film, photography and commercial production, collaborating with actors, artists, entrepreneurs and brands to bring ideas to life. His projects have screened at international film festivals and have been recognized for their distinct visual style and narrative focus.

As the founder and CEO of Wade Studios, Mark has built a creative space dedicated to supporting artists, filmmakers and photographers in the development of their work. Through his studio and personal practice, he continues to explore the relationship between image, performance and storytelling.
